and his second round of 68-2. Six shots back on 207-3 after 54 holes was

69-1 and his second round was 71+1.
Also six shots back was the ever consistent

lowest round of the day and it went with his first round 72+2 and his second
round 71+1. Also seven shots back was Kevin Streelman (USA) who scored an
excellent third round of 66-4 to go along with his first round 70 even par and
his second round 72+2. The final player that was seven shots back was Roberto
Castro (USA) who scored an average third round of 71+1 to go with his 68-2 in
the first round and his 69-1 in the second round. On 209-1 after 54 holes was 2001

position and 19 shots behind the leader.
The final round
was played on Sunday 11th August in scattered cloud that turned in to bright
sun shine as the afternoon progressed and with a moderate wind blowing and the
temperature was again in the early 20’s Celsius. The course was playing
slightly easier than the third round but was still hard to hit the greens if
you missed the fairways. Jason Dufner (USA) scored a final round of 68-2 to go
along with his first round 68-2, and his second round 63-7 which was a course
record and a third round 71+1 for a 72 hole total of 270-10 and he won by two
shots for his maiden Major Championship win and his third USPGA Tour win of his
career. He won US $1,445,000.00 for the win and moved to 13th position on the
current 2013 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $ 2,641,334 earned from
the 18 events he has played to date this year so far. Tiger Woods (USA) still
leads that list with US $7,687,119 earned from the 12 events he has played to
date this year so far. Jason Dufner (USA) also earned 600 FedEx Cup points for
the win and moved to 14th position on the current 2013 FedEx Cup Points list
standings with 1,256 points earned from the 18 events he has played to date
this year so far, he is 1,803 points behind the current leader of the FedEx Cup
Points standings list who is Tiger Woods (USA) who has earned 3,059 from the 12
events he has played to date this year so far. Tiger Woods (USA) is 766 points
ahead of Matt Kuchar (USA) who is in second place on the list with 2,293 points
from the 19 events he has played to date this year so far. From the 18 events
he has played to date this year so far he has made 15 cuts and achieved three
top ten finishes which includes this win.
Jason Dufner
(USA) played a very good final round of 68-2 under the circumstances and that
included a front nine 32-3 which included birdies on the par five, fourth hole,
par four, fifth hole where he landed his second shot three feet from the pin
and the par four, eighth hole where he landed his second shot two feet from the
pin, and he made the turn at minus eleven and was leading by two shots. Jim
Furyk (USA) played a steady front nine of 35 even par and made the turn at
minus nine and was two strokes behind the leader. Henrik Stenson (Sweden) played
a very good front nine of 34-1 and made the turn at minus eight and was three
shots behind the leader.
Jason Dufner
(USA), Jim Furyk (USA) and Henrik Stenson (Sweden) all played holes 10-12 in
even par. So Jason Dufner (USA) was still minus eleven and leading by two
shots. Jim Furyk (USA) was still minus nine and two shots behind the leader and
Henrik Stenson (Sweden) was still minus eighth and three shots behind the
leader. Jason Dufner (USA) made a par at the par five, 13th hole and remained
at minus eleven but and was still leading by two shots. Jim Furyk (USA) made a par
at the par five, 13th hole and remained at minus nine and was still two shots
behind the leader. Henrik Stenson (Sweden) made a fine birdie at the par five,
13th hole after he struck his second shot with his fairway wood and it came to
rest on the fringe just short of the green. He struck a brilliant putt from
just over 30 feet that narrowly missed going in for his eagle and he easily tapped
in for his birdie. He moved to minus nine and was now only two shots off the
leader.
Jason Dufner
(USA) made a disappointing par on the short par four, 14th hole and remained at
minus eleven and was still leading by two shots. Jim Furyk (USA) made a solid
par on the short par four, 14th hole and remained at minus nine and still had a
two shot lead. Henrik Stenson (Sweden) made a poor bogey on the short par four,
14th hole when his three wood layup landed in a divot hole and his second shot
plugged in the green side bunker at the front of the green and he was unable to
get up and down. He fell back to minus eight and was now three shots behind the
leader. Jason Dufner (USA), Jim Furyk (USA) and Henrik Stenson (Sweden) all
made solid pars at the par three, 15th hole. So Jason Dufner (USA) remained at
minus eleven and was still leading by two shots with three holes remaining, Jim
Furyk (USA) was still minus nine and two shots behind the leader with three
holes remaining and Henrik Stenson (Sweden) was still minus eight and three
shots behind the leader with three holes remaining.
Jason Dufner
(USA) made a fine birdie on the par four, 16th hole when he landed his second
shot two feet from the pin and easily tapped in for his birdie and was now
minus 12 and leading by two shots with three holes remaining. Jim Furyk (USA)
made a fine birdie on the par four, 16th hole when he landed his second shot 15
feet left of the pin and holed the putt and moved to minus ten and was still
two shots back of the leader with two holes remaining. Henrik Stenson (Sweden)
made a solid par on the par four, 16th hole and remained at minus eight with
two holes remaining and was now four shots behind the leader. Jason Dufner
(USA) made a poor bogey at the par four, 17th hole when he struck his second
shot on the green 45 feet from the pin. He struck a solid putt for his birdie
but it rolled eight feet past the cup leaving a difficult par putt. He put a
terrible stroke on his par putt and it missed on the left hand side and he had
to settle for his bogey five and he fell back to minus eleven with just the par
four, 72nd hole to play but was still leading by two shots. Jim Furyk (USA) also
bogeyed the par four, 17th hole when he pulled his rescue wood and it landed
pin high in the left rough, knowing that he had to get a par at worst and
properly a chip in birdie if he was going to put any pressure on Jason Dufner
(USA) going up the par four, 72nd hole. It forced Jim Furyk (USA) to try the
very difficult cute shot and land it just on the fringe for the ball to trickle
out next to the hole. Jim Furyk (USA) hit a good chip but it just came up a
couple of feet short of where he wanted to land it and it remained in the long
rough. He struck a good chip shot for his four shot that came to rest a foot
from the cup. He tapped in for his bogey five and fell back to minus nine and
was still two shots behind the leader with just the par four, 72nd hole to
play. Henrik Stenson (Sweden) made a poor bogey at the par four, 17th hole and
dropped back to minus seven and was still four shots of the lead with just the
par four, 72nd hole to play.
Henrik Stenson
(Sweden) playing in the group ahead of the final group made a solid par up the
par four, 72nd hole and finished the 72 holes at minus seven and was three
shots behind the winner. Both Jason Dufner (USA) and Jim Furyk (USA) hit their
drives on the par four, 72nd hole in the right hand rough. Jim Furyk (USA)
played his second shot first with his mid iron and he pulled it left of the
green short in the thick rough. Jason Dufner (USA) played next with his mid
iron from the deep rough and hit what he thought was a perfect shot right over
the pin but it came up about two metres short of the green in the very think
rough on the bank. Jim Furyk (USA) played his third shot next from the thick
rough short of the green and he hit it out too hard and it came to rest about
20 feet past the pin leaving a difficult downhill putt for his par. Jason
Dufner (USA) played his third shot and chipped it on the green from the thick
rough to the green above and he just got it on the green and it rolled to
within 12 feet of the hole. Jim Furyk (USA) then putted for his par and rolled
it to within a foot of the cup and tapped in for his bogey five and he finished
the 72 holes at minus eight and was two shots behind the winner. Jason Dufner
(USA) now knew he could three putt and still win the PGA Championship. He
steadied himself and then struck his 12 foot par putt and it came up a foot
short of the cup. He easily tapped that putt in for bogey and finished with a
back nine 36+1 and finished the 72 holes at minus ten to win by two shots for
his maiden Major Championship win of his career to date. He pumped his fists in
the air to celebrate and it was a rear display of emotion from the usually very
came personality he displays on the course with a poker face. He then gave his
wife Amanda a hug as he walked off the 72nd Green and as he was walking to the
scorers hut to sign his card, Keegan Bradley (USA) who beat him in a three hole
playoff in 2011 in this very tournament also was there to give him a huge hug
as well.

Jason Dufner
(USA) moved inside the top ten in the Presidents Cup standings. The top ten
U.S. players through September 2nd, 2013 (Deutsche Bank Championship) will
automatically qualify. In addition, two Captains Picks will be made on
September 4th, 2013. Jason Dufner (USA) broke the Oak Hill Country Club
course record with a 63 in the second round. The competitive course record of
64 on the East Course at Oak Hill was held by Ben Hogan (USA) (1942 Rochester
Open), Curtis Strange (USA) (1989 U. S. Open) and Webb Simpson (2013 PGA
Championship).
Jason Dufner
(USA) has been playing on the USPGA Tour fulltime for the last six seasons
and has easily kept his card every year for the next year every year except
one. In that time he has achieved three wins with the Maiden win coming at
the 2012 Zurich Classic of New Orleans and his second win coming a few weeks
later at the HP Byron Nelson Championship and the third one was of course the
95th PGA Championship this past week which was his maiden Major Championship.
Now he has won his Maiden Major Championship I wouldn’t be surprised if he
wins another one in the next few years. His awesome ball striking and the
fact that nothing really annoys him on the golf course really helps him to
perform well under the intense pressure that Major Championship Golf puts on
players. He now has career earnings on USPGA Tour of US $15,087,343 earned
from the 193 events he has played to date so far in his career. I wish him
all the best for the remaining events he plays on the USPGA Tour in the 2013
season.
Coming in solo
second position at 272-8 after 72 holes was Jim Furyk (USA); he won US $865,000.00
for his efforts and moved to 20th position on the current 2013 USPGA Tour
Money list standings with US $2,165,929 earned from the 18 events he has
played to date this year so far. He also earned 330 FedEx Cup points for his
efforts and moved to twenty first position on the current 2013 FedEx Cup
points list standings with 1,057 points earned from the 18 events he has
played to date this year so far. From the 18 events he has played to date
this year so far he has made 15 cuts and achieved five top ten finishes which
includes the one here. Jim Furyk (USA) has been playing on the USPGA Tour
fulltime since the 1994 season and in that time he has amassed career earnings
of US $54,885,388 earned from the 500 events he has played to date so far in
his career. Last year was a year of missed chances for him with his narrow
misses at winning the US Open Championship and couple of other tournaments.
But he hasn’t won on the USPGA Tour since the 2010 THE TOUR Championship
presented by Coca-Cola. But he has won 16 tournaments in his USPGA Tour
career to date and that includes his maiden Major Championship which came at
the 2003 US Open Championship. I feel his 17th win will come very soon. I
wish him all the best for rest of the 2013 season.
Coming in solo
third position at 273-7 after 72 holes was Henrik Stenson (Sweden); he earned
US $545,000.00 for efforts and moved to fifth position on the current 2013
USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $3,441,003 earned from the 14 events
he has played to date this year so far. He also earned 210 FedEx Cup Points
for his efforts and moved to eighth position on the current 2013 FedEx Cup
Points list standings with 1,426 points earned from the 14 events he has
played to date this year so far. From the 14 events he has played to date
this year so far he has made 12 cuts and achieved six top ten finishes which
includes the one here. He has been playing the USPGA Tour for the past three
season’s fulltime after he gained his full USPGA Tour card by winning the
2009 Players Championship. He is having a much better season than his
previous two in 2013. He has won two USPGA Tour events in his career so far
to date and they both have been huge tournaments which include the 2007 World
Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship and the 2009 THE
PLAYERS Championship. I feel he is a good enough player to win a Major
Championship and it could happen in the next few years? I also feel he could
be a player to watch out for in the FedEx Cup Playoffs when they start in two
weeks time. I wish him all the best for the rest of the 2013 season.
Coming in solo

had a fine rookie season on the USPGA Tour in 2012 with playing in twenty one

them being his maiden win on the USPGA Tour which came at the Frys.com Open
in mid October. He finished in 34th position on the final 2012 USPGA Tour
Money list standings with US $2,255,695 earned and easily retained his full

him because it was only his second Major Championship he has played in his
career to date so far with the other one being The Open Championship last
month where he finished in tied for 26th position which was a fine effort
also. I feel he will have some more high finishes in the weeks to come on the
USPGA Tour. And he too could be a player to watch out for when the FedEx Cup
Playoffs start in two weeks tine. I wish him all the best for the rest of the
2013 season.
Coming in tied for fifth position at 275-5 after 72 holes was Scott
Piercy (USA); he earned US $304,000.00 for his efforts and moved to 39th

also achieved two wins on the USPGA Tour in his career to date so far with
the first one coming at the 2011 Reno-Tahoe Open and the second coming
at 2012 RBC Canadian Open. This was also his career best finish in a
Major Championship to date so far. I feel his third win isn’t too far off and
perhaps it will happen in the 2013 season?
Also tied for
fifth position was Adam Scott (Australia); he too earned US $304,000.00 for his efforts and moved to
sixth position on the current 2013 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $3,206,513

EDS Byron Nelson Championship, 2010 Valero Texas Open, 2011 World Golf

(Maiden Major Championship). He had the best record of any player in the
four Major Championships in 2013 with winning the Masters Tournament in
April; tying for 45th position at the 113th US Open Championship in June;
tying for third at the 142nd Open Championship in July and tying for fifth at
the 95th PGA Championship in August. I feel with the form he is in at the
moment he could very well be a contender for the FedEx Cup when the playoffs
start in two weeks time. I wish him all the best for the rest of the 2013
season.

Classic. 2004 FedEx St. Jude Classic, 2005 World Golf Championships-Accenture

three top ten finishes in the four Major Championships this year and here
they are: Solo third at the Masters Tournament in April; tied for second at
the 113th US Open Championship in June; tied for 32nd at the 142nd Open
