Well it was another excellent weekend on the Major
Professional Golf Tours from around the world and this week the USPGA
Tour and FedEx Cup Playoff Series headed to Norton, Massachusetts for the Deutsche
Bank Championship which was the second FedEx Cup Playoff Event. Only
the top 100 players on the 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoff Points list standings
after the Barclays were eligible to compete. It was played on the TPC
Boston, Norton, Massachusetts. It carried a huge prize purse of US
$8,000,000 for the taking. Danny Lee (NZL) was the only New Zealand Golfer in
the field because he finished in 96th position on the 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoff
Points list standings after the Barclays. And it was the golfer by the name of Chris
Kirk (USA), who scored rounds of 73+2, 66-5, 64-7 and a final round of 66-5 for
a 72 hole total of 269-15 and he won by two shots for his third USPGA Tour win
of his career to date so far. He earned US $1,440,000 for the win and moved to
fifth position on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US
$4,475,387 earned from the twenty six events he has played to date this season
so far. Rory McILroy (NIR) still leads that list with US $7,340,096 earned from
the 15 events he has played to date this season so far. Chris Kirk (USA) also
earned 2,500 FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his efforts and moved to the top of
the current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list standings with 4,154 points
earned from the twenty six events he has played to date this season so far and
he is 819 points ahead of Rory McILroy (NIR) who is currently second on that
list with 3,335 points earned from the 15 events he has played to date this
season so far. From the twenty six events Chris Kirk (USA) has played to date
this season so far he has made twenty four cuts and achieved four top ten
finishes which includes the win here and also his win at the McGladrey
Classic in November last year. He will be extremely happy with his final three
rounds that were all in the 60s especially his third round 64-7 which was the
equal low round of the day. But he would be disappointed with his first round
73+2 but it didn’t stop him from achieving the win!!
Chris Kirk (USA) played a brilliant final round
which was a blemish free 66-5 and it included a front nine of 33-3 with birdies
on the par three, third hole, par four, fourth hole and par four, ninth hole
and made the turn at minus 13 and was tied for the lead. Russell Henley (USA)
went out in 36 even par and made the turn at minus 12 and was one shot behind
the leaders. Billy Horschel (USA) 34-2 and made the turn at minus 13 and was
tied for the lead. Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) went out in 32-4 and made the turn
at minus eleven and was two shots behind the leaders.
Chris Kirk (USA) played holes ten to 14 in one under
par and moved to minus 14 and was now leading by one shot. Russell Henley (USA)
played holes ten to 14 in even par and remained at minus 12 and was now two
shots behind the leader. Billy Horschel (USA) played holes ten to 14 in even
par and remained at minus 13 and was now one shot behind the leader. Geoff
Ogilvy (Australia) played holes ten to 14 in two under par and moved to minus
13 and now was one shot behind the leader.
Chris Kirk (USA) played holes 15 to 17 in one under
par and moved to minus 15 and was still leading by one shot heading to the par
five, 72nd hole. Russell Henley (USA) played holes 15 to 17 in even par and
remained at minus 12 and was now three shots behind the leader heading to the
par five, 72nd hole. Billy Horschel (USA) played holes 15 to 17 in one under
par and moved to minus 14 and was still one shot behind the leader heading to
the par five, 72nd hole. Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) played holes 15 to 17 in even
par and remained at minus 13 and now was two shots behind the leader heading to
the par five, 72nd hole.
Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) who was playing about an
hour ahead of the leaders made a disappointing par at the par five, 72nd hole
and finished the 72 holes at minus 13 and was two shots behind the winner.
Chris
Kirk (USA) who was playing in the group ahead of the final group pulled his
drive in to the left hand rough off the par five, 72nd hole. He chose to laid up
with his second shot with a short iron but when it hit the fairway it kicked to
the right off the slope and came to rest in the rough just missing the fairway
bunker that was in the middle of the fairway. He was now faced with a very poor
lie for his short 100 yard wedge shot for his third shot but he played it to
perfection and it came to rest 12 feet pin high to the right of the pin. He was
now faced with a 12 foot putt for birdie and if he holed it he would more than
likely win the Championship. But he struck a poor putt and it missed on the
left hand side and he tapped in for his par five and finished the 72 holes at
minus 15 and was still leading by one shot but would have to wait to see if it
was going to be enough to win? He scored 33-2 on his back nine.
Chris Kirk (USA) on the left holding one of his sons and his wife, Tahnee on the right holding their youngest son with his oldest son in the middle just after he won!! |
Russell Henley (USA) struck a brilliant drive down
the par five, 72nd hole that landed in the middle of the fairway.
He then stuck a very good mid iron that landed on the middle of the green but
rolled off the green and down the slope at the back leaving a very difficult up
and down for his birdie four. He chose a putter for his third shot and he
missed judge the pace up the slope and his ball rolled past the pin and came to
rest 30 feet past the cup. But he struck a brilliant putt from 30 feet for his
birdie putt which rolled right into the centre of the cup for his birdie four
and he finished the 72 holes at minus 13 and was two shots behind the winner.
Billy Horschel (USA) hit a fine drive down the par five, 72nd hole which
landed in the centre of the fairway. He was left with a second shot with his
mid iron which the ball was slightly below his feet. He knew if he could hit
his second shot on the green and two putt he would be in a playoff with Chris
Kirk (USA). But he stuck the worse shot of the week for him hitting it slightly
heavy and his ball landed well short of the green in the water hazard. He took
his penalty drop in the drop zone and knew the only way he could force a
playoff now was to hole his fourth shot out. He struck it okay but it landed 15
feet to the right of the pin and he knew now he had blown a great chance to win
his second USPGA Tour event. He two putted for his bogey six and finished the
72 holes at minus 13 and was two shots behind the winner.
Chris Kirk (USA) now knew his win in the Deutsche Bank
Championship had been confirmed and he celebrated by giving his wife, Tahnee a
huge hug and kiss and he also hugged his three children. Then he was
interviewed by the NBC/Golf Channel reporter and told him he “was so happy to
win this tournament and this season has been just amazing for him” and when he
was asked if he thinks he has done enough to earn a Captains Pick by US Ryder
Cup Captain, Tom Watson (USA) he replied “It he picks me I will be so happy but
if he doesn’t I won’t be too disappointed because I know there are a lot of
good players in contention to be picked as well”. Chris Kirk (USA) has been
playing on the USPGA Tour fulltime since the 2011 season. In his three previous
seasons on the USPGA Tour he has won at least US $1million and in his rookie
season in 2011 he won his maiden USPGA Tour title at the Viking Classic. It was
great to see him achieve his second USPGA Tour win back in November last year
and his third this past week at the Deutsche Bank Championship and now he will
get a chance to play in a few of the bigger Tournaments in 2014 and 2015. Those
tournaments will be the 2014/15 World Golf Championship Events, 2015 Masters
Tournament in April next year, the Open Championship in mid July next year and
the PGA Championship in August next year. Let’s hope he can get his fourth win
very soon and perhaps he could claim the 2014 FedEx Cup in two weeks time? I
wish him all the best for the rest of the 2013/14 season and FedEx Cup Playoff
Series.
Coming in tied for second position at 271-13 after
72 holes was Russell Henley (USA); he earned US $597,333.33 for his efforts and
moved to 32nd position on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings
with US $2,362,973 earned from the twenty seven events he has played to date
this season so far. He also earned 1083 FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his
efforts and moved to 14th position on the current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoff
Points list standings with 1,987 points earned from the twenty seven events he
has played to date this season so far. From the twenty seven events he has
played to date this season so far he has made 15 cuts and achieved three top
ten finishes that includes the one here and also his win at the Honda Classic in
March this year. He will be happy with his first three rounds this week that
were all under par and saw him hold the 54 hole lead by a single shot especially
his second round 66-5 and his third round 65-6. But he will be disappointed
that he could only score 70-1 in the final round when a round in the mid 60s
would have won him the championship. Russell Henley (USA) has been playing on
the USPGA Tour since the 2013 season where he won his very first start at the
2013 Sony Open in Hawaii and in early March 2014 he won his second USPGA Tour
events at the Honda Classic. Now he has won twice on the USPGA Tour at the
tender age of twenty five years old it will give him lots of confidence heading
into the big tournaments coming up in the weeks ahead in the final two FedEx
Cup Playoff Events. Let’s hope he can keep this form he has shown this week up
for the weeks ahead because he has become a fan favourite with his very bubbly
personality and positive attitude. And
perhaps he could be a dark horse to win the 2014 FedEx Cup? I wish him all the
best for the rest of the 2013/14 USPGA Tour season and the FedEx Cup Playoff
Series.
Also tied for second position was Billy Horschel
(USA); he too earned US $597,333.33 for his efforts and moved to 45th position
on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $1,934,787
earned from the twenty five events he has played to date this season so far. He
also earned 1083 FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his efforts and moved to
twentieth position on the current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list
standings with 1,805 points earned from the twenty five events he has played to
date this season so far. From the twenty five events he has played to date this
season so far he has made 18 cuts and achieved three top ten finishes which
includes the one here. He will be happy with his four rounds this week that
were all in the 60s and he was the only player to achieve that and especially
happy with his second round 66-5. But he will be disappointed with his second
shot on the 72nd hole that found the water hazard short of the green and cost
him a chance of getting into the playoff. Billy Horschel (USA) first gained his
USPGA Tour card in 2010 by finishing in solo seventh position at the 2009 PGA
TOUR Qualifying Tournament. In his rookie season on the USPGA Tour in 2010 he
only managed to play in four events and missed every cut because of a tendon
injury to his left wrist that required surgery. The wrist started bothering him
in late 2009. He was granted a major Medical Extension for 2011 USPGA Tour
season, with 19 events to equal the Number 125 from the 2010 PGA TOUR money
list ($786,977) he improved his status with a Tied 27th finish at the 2010 PGA
TOUR Qualifying Tournament. In the 2011 USPGA Tour season he only made US $533,024
from the 25 events he played in and finished in 140th position on the final
2011 USPGA Tour Money list giving him some status on the USPGA Tour for the
2012 season. He went back to the 2011 PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament but
finished in tied 103rd position and got his Web.com Tour Card and that meant he
had two tours to play on in the 2012 season. In the 2012 USPGA Tour season he
played in 17 events and made 15 cuts and achieved one top ten finish. He earned
US $486,177 from those 17 events he played in and finished up in 147th position
on the final 2012 USPGA Tour Money list standings meaning he again had some
status on the USPGA Tour for the 2013 season. He chose to go back to the 2012 PGA
TOUR Qualifying Tournament to improve his status and he did better than that by
finishing tied for fourth position and gained his full USPGA Tour card for the
2013 USPGA Tour season. He had his career best season to date in 2013 with
earning US $3,501,703 from the twenty six events he played in and that included
winning his maiden USPGA Tour event at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in
late April. And I guess as they say the rest is history. I sure his second win
can’t be too far off? I wish him all the best for the rest of the 2013/14 USPGA
Tour season and FedEx Cup Playoff Series.
The final player to tie for second position was Geoff
Ogilvy (Australia); he too earned US $597,333.33 for his efforts and moved to 60th
position on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $1,641,575
earned from the twenty four events he has played to date this season so far. He
also earned 1083 FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his efforts and moved to twenty
fourth position on the current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points standings list
with 1,694 points earned from the twenty four events he has played to date this
season so far. From the twenty four events he has played to date this season so
far he has made 14 cuts and achieved two top ten finishes that includes the one
here and also his win at the Barracuda Championship in August. He will be happy
with his four rounds this week that were all at par and under par especially
his third and final rounds that were both 65-6s. And he made a huge move on the
FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list standings this week with starting the week in
100th position and getting the last spot in the Deutsche Bank Championship and
at the end of the 72 holes here he finds himself in twenty fourth position
jumping up 76 places heading to the third playoff event next week which is the
BMW Championship!! Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) has been playing the USPGA Tour
fulltime since the 2001, and has finished in the top 100 in each of his first
five seasons. His first professional tournament win came in 2005 at the USPGA
Tour's Chrysler Classic of Tucson. In February 2006 he beat Davis Love III
(USA) in the final of the 2006 WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship. Geoff Ogilvy
(Australia) won his first Major Championship at the 2006 U.S. Open, becoming
the first Australian to win a men's golf major since Steve Elkington
(Australia) at the 1995 PGA Championship. Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) finished his
round with a champion's flourish, making improbable pars on each of the last
two holes. He holed a 30-foot chip shot at the 17th, and then got up-and-down
for par at the 18th, dropping a downhill six-footer for his final stroke as all
his competitors collapsed around him. Phil Mickelson (USA) and Colin
Montgomerie (Scotland) needed pars on the final hole to win, or bogeys to tie
with Geoff Ogilvy (Australia), but they ruined their chances by producing
double-bogey sixes to give Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) a dramatic win. Jim Furyk
(USA) needed par to force a playoff but bogeyed the final hole. This success
moved Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) into the top ten of the Official World Golf
Rankings for the first time, at Number 8. He reached his highest placing to
date on 9 July 2006 when he was ranked Number 7, and he returned to that rank
in February 2007 after finishing as runner-up to Henrik Stenson (Sweden) while
defending his title at the 2007 WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship. He has
spent over 120 weeks in the top-10 of the rankings.
Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) won the 2008 WGC – CA
Championship, his second World Golf Championship title, by one shot shooting
17-under par. It was his first USPGA Tour win since the 2006 U.S. Open. In his
next start at the 2008 Shell Houston Open he finished tied for 2nd moving him
up to number 5 in the Official World Golf Rankings. In late June 2008, he rose
to 3rd in the rankings. In 2009 Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) continued his success
at the WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship defeating Paul Casey (England).
Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) moved into second alone in World Golf Championship
wins. This win brought him up to 4th in the Official World Golf Rankings. In
January 2010, Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) won the SBS Championship, the opening
event of the 2010 PGA Tour. Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) won the 2014 Barracuda
Championship, a tournament that uses the modified Stableford scoring system,
with a winning score of 49 points. It was his first victory in over 4 years. He
has really hit some good form at the moment and with another top ten next week
at the BMW Championship he should guarantee a start in the Tour Championship
the following week. Perhaps he could win his ninth USPGA Tour event in one of
the two remaining FedEx Cup Playoff events and if he does that he could well
win the 2014 FedEx Cup as well? I wish him all the best for the rest of the
2013/14 USPGA Tour Season and FedEx Cup Playoffs series.
Coming in tied for fifth position at 273-11 after 72
holes was Rory McILroy (NIR); he earned US $304,000 for his efforts and remained
at the top of the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $7,340,096
earned from the 15 events he has played to date this season so far. He also
earned 525 FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his efforts and remained in second
position on the current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list standings with
3,335 points earned from the 15 events he has played to date this season so
far. From the 15 events he has played to date this season so far he has made 15
cuts and achieved ten top ten finishes which includes the one here and also the wins at the 143rd Open Championship
(Third Major Championship win) in July, WGC – Bridgestone Invitational and 96th
PGA Championship (Fourth Major Championship win) in August. He will be happy
with and second and third rounds this week that were both in the 60s especially
his third round 64-7 which was the equal low round of the day. But he will be
disappointed with his first and final rounds that were both 70-1. Rory McILroy
(NIR) has been playing the USPGA Tour
Fulltime for the last three season’s including this one and in 2012 he won the
2012 Final USPGA Tour Money list with US $8,047,952 earned from the 16 events
he played in and that included four wins and one was his second Major
Championship win which came at the 2012 USPGA Championship. His 2013 USPGA Tour
Season wasn’t so good as he was trying to get used to his new Nike Golf Clubs,
he finished in 41st position on the final 2013 USPGA Tour Money list standings
with US $ 1,802,443 earned from the 16 events he played in which was poor by
his high standards. Here are his nine wins to date on the USPGA Tour so far
from the first to the most recent: 2010 Quail Hollow Championship, 2011 U.S.
Open (Maiden Major Championship), 2012 The Honda Classic, PGA Championship
(Second Major Championship), Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship,
143rd Open Championship (Third Major Championship), WGC – Bridgestone
Invitational and the 96th PGA Championship (Fourth Major Championship). So far
in his USPGA Tour career he has amassed US $22,500,098 in the 85 events he has
played so far in his career. I feel his tenth USPGA Tour win is not very far
off and perhaps it will be at the BMW Championship next week or the Tour
Championship by Coca – Cola the following week? I feel he must be one of the
hot favourites to win the 2014 FedEx Cup. I wish him all the best for the rest of the
2013/14 USPGA season and his quest to win his maiden FedEx Cup.
The final player to tie for fifth position was John Senden (Australia);
he also earned US $304,000 for his efforts and moved to
twenty fourth position on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings
with US $2,649,485 earned from the twenty five events he has played to date
this season so far. He also earned 525
FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his efforts and moved to 16th position on the
current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points standings list with 1,909 points
earned from the twenty five events he has played to date this season so far. From
the twenty five events he has played to date this season so far he has made twenty
cuts and achieved five top ten finishes which includes the one here and also
his win at the Valspar Championship in March. He will be happy with his four
rounds this week that were all at par and under par especially his final round
66-5 which was blemish free. John Senden (Australia) has been playing the USPGA
Tour fulltime since the 2002 season and has kept his card for the next year
every season since. In that time he has amassed career earnings of US $18,660,649
earned from the 360 events he has played to date so far in his career. His
maiden win came at the 2006 John Deere Classic and of course his second
win came in mid March this year at the Valspar Championship. So he had to wait
just under eight years between wins. He is considered by some golf experts to
have one of the best swings in the game but sometimes his putting lets him
down. I sure his third win on the USPGA Tour is just around the corner and it
could well happen in the 2013/14 season? Perhaps it could even be one of the
two remaining FedEx Cup Playoff Series events? Now at age 43 years old he is
really settled in his life being happily married to his wife Jackie since 1999,
and has one child, Jacob. I wish him all the best for the rest of the 2013/14
season and FedEx Cup Playoff Series events.
The final player to tie for seventh position was Martin Kaymer (Germany); he also earned US $258,000 for his efforts and moved to eighth position on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $4,265,537 earned from the 17 events he has played to date this season so far. He also earned 438 FedEx Cup Playoff Points for his efforts and moved to 15th position on the current 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list standings with 1,962 points earned from the 17 events he has played to date this season so far. From the 17 events he has played to date this season so far he has made 13 cuts and achieved four top ten finishes which includes the one here and also his win at the Players Championship in May and the 114th U.S. Open Championship in June. He will be happy with his second and final rounds that were both in the 60s especially his second round 66-5. But he will be only content with his first and third rounds that were in the low 70s. This is his second season playing on the USPGA Tour fulltime. He gained his full 2013 USPGA Tour card by winning the 2010 USPGA Championship which was his maiden Major Championship. But he had a poor 2013 season on the USPGA Tour by his standards with only earning US $882,937 from the 17 events he played in and he finished in 94th position on the final 2013 USPGA Tour Money list standings. He also plays the European Tour fulltime and has achieved ten wins already on that tour and here they are from the first to the most recent: 2008 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, 2008 BMW International Open, 2009 Open de France ALSTOM, 2009 The Barclays Scottish Open, 2010 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, 2010 US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP, 2010 KLM Open, 2010 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, 2011 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and the 2011 WGC - HSBC Champions. Now he has three wins on the USPGA Tour he will gain even more confidence and I feel he will have a good chance to win the third and final FedEx Cup Playoffs Events and perhaps even the 2014 FedEx Cup if everything goes right for him. I wish him all the best for the rest of the 2013/14 USPGA Tour season and FedEx Cup Playoff Series.
Danny Lee (NZL) was only New Zealand Golfer in the field and he scored a poor round of 74+3 in the first round. Then he scored an excellent second round of 65-6 which was the lowest round of the day. He scored a poor third round of 73+2 and a very good final round of 68-3 for a 72 hole of 280-4 and he finished in tied for 35th position. He earned US $36,950 for his efforts and moved to 120th position on the current 2013/14 USPGA Tour Money list standings with US $781,295 earned from the twenty eighth events he played in this season. He also earned 163 FedEx Cup Playoffs points for his efforts and finished in 88th position on the final 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs points list standings with 800 points earned from the twenty eighth events he played in this season. He also earned US $75,000 from the FedEx Cup Bonus Money Distribution. From the twenty eighth events he played in this season he made 13 cuts and achieved one top ten finish that came over five months ago at the Puerto Rico Open presented by seepuertorico.com where he finished in solo second position in early March. He will be happy with his second and final rounds this week that were both in the 60s especially his second round 65-6 which was the low round on the day. But he will be disappointed with his first and third rounds that were both in the 70s and cost him a chance of getting into the top 70 players on the FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list standings and making it to the third FedEx Cup Playoff event which is the BMW Championship next week. His 2013/14 USPGA Tour Season and FedEx Cup Playoff Series are now over. He can be very pleased with his season though and the fact that he has secure his card for the 2014/15 USPGA Tour Season and FedEx Cup. This also is his best ever season on the USPGA Tour having played it for the first time in 2012 in his rookie season and losing his full playing status after finishing in 166th position on the final money list standings with US $359,122 earned. He first tournament in the 2014/15 USPGA Tour and FedEx Cup Season will more than likely be the Frys.com Open in early October and I wouldn’t be surprised if he achieves at least a top ten finish there. I wish all the best for the 2014/15 USPGA Tour season and FedEx Cup.
The happiest player this week was
Jerry Kerry (USA) who finished in 70th position on the 2013/14 FedEx Cup
playoffs points list standings after the Deutsche Bank
Championship with 968 points earned from the twenty two events he has played to date
this season so far and he became the last player eligible for the BMW
Championship which is the third FedEx Cup Playoff event next week and to gain the
70th position he had to make an eagle three on the par five, 72nd hole!! The
least happy player this week was Robert Streb (USA) who finished in 71st
position on the 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points list standings with 966
points earned from the twenty one events he played in this season and he missed
out on playing in the third FedEx Cup Playoff event at the BMW
Championship the next week by two points!! He also eagled the par five, 72nd
hole as well, but it just wasn’t enough!! His 2013/14 USPGA Tour Season and
FedEx Cup Playoff series is now over but he is assured of having fully exempt
playing status for the 2014/15 USPGA Tour Season.
Next week the USPGA Tour and
FedEx Cup Playoff Series heads to Colorado for the third FedEx Cup Playoff
Event and it is played on the Cherry
Hills CC, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Only the
top 70 players on the 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoff Points list standings after the
Deutsche
Bank Championship will be eligible to compete. It carries a huge prize purse of US
$8,000,000 for the taking. Zach Johnson (USA) is the defending champion and
will be keen for back to back titles. Danny Lee (NZL) will only get a start if
he finishes inside the top 70 players on the 2013/14 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points
list standings after the conclusion of the Deutsche Bank
Championship. It starts on Thursday 4th September and I will report back who
won the trophy next week.
So to the Top 5 on the Official
World Golf Rankings Points list this week and coming in at Number One Position
for the fifth week of his fifth spell of his career and for the 44th week of
his career in total is Rory McILroy (NIR) fresh off his tied for fifth position
at the Deutsche
Bank Championship this past week and one week ago finishing in twenty
second position at The Barclays and three weeks ago winning at the 96th PGA
Championship and four weeks ago won WGC – Bridgestone Invitational and also six
weeks ago winning the 143rd Open Championship with 11.27 Official Golf World
Ranking Points; coming in at Number Two is Adam Scott (Australia) fresh off his
tied for 16th position at Deutsche Bank Championship this
past week and one week ago he tied for 15th position at The
