Thames Golf Club – Thursday Scramble
A very small field played in the Scramble on Thursday 24th May. Tom Handley scored 83 off his 12 handicap and returned 35 Stableford points to win the scramble.

Men’s: Tom Handley 35, Rod Bathurst 32 and Jim McConnell 27.
Two’s: There were none.
Hidden Holes: Rod Bathurst won them with 9 points to take the cash.
Thames Golf Club – Saturday Scramble
On Saturday 26th May, 33 players played in the Saturday Scramble in conjunction with the Browns 100% Trophy in overcast conditions with early fog and hardly a breath of wind to speak of. Jamie Smith certainly found the conditions to his liking; playing off his 6handicap he scored a 2 under par 68 which was his best of the year so far and returned 44 Stableford Points and won the Browns 100% Trophy and the Spoils that go with it. And of course it was the best gross score of the day.

Two’s: John Trim on the 14th hole and Dirk Develter on the 8th hole.
Hidden Holes: Barbara McFarlane and Richard Elgie shared them with 11 points to win the Cash.
There was one quarter final Petley Cup 4BBB Match played where Richard Blight/Bill Watene defeated Gary Webber/Craig Bradley to advance to the Semi – Finals. The early leader midway through the 2nd round of the Harcourt’s Shootout is Craig Bradley on 122 nett, 18 under his handicap after his March/April round of 59 and his May/June round of 63. Next Saturday (2nd June) is the quarter finals of the Petley Cup 4BBB Match play in conjunction with the usual Saturday Scramble.
